About the role

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for proactively growing Capintec's domestic nuclear medicine (NucMed) product and service sales across an assigned Northwest territory. The Account Manager owns the full sales cycle within the territory, builds new business through proactive prospecting, and manages the territory pipeline in Salesforce (SF). RESPONSIBILITIES • Proactively prospect, cold call, and develop new accounts across the assigned Northwest territory for Capintec dose calibrators, EC2 software, and related NucMed products and services. • Own the full sales cycle within the territory, including lead qualification, quoting, negotiation, and closing, with a strong emphasis on proactive new business development rather than reactive order taking. • Maintain accurate account and opportunity data in Salesforce (SF), including activity logs, opportunity stages, and sales forecasts, to support accurate territory reporting. • Conduct in person and virtual visits to hospitals, imaging centers, and radiopharmacies within the territory to build relationships and uncover new opportunities. • Partner with application specialists and the service team to support product demonstrations, installations, and post sale customer needs. • Monitor competitive activity within the territory and share insights with sales leadership to help guide pricing and positioning. • Represent Capintec at regional trade shows, chapter meetings, and industry events within the Northwest region. • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. • Four to seven years of sales experience, with a proven record of proactively generating new business rather than mainly maintaining existing accounts. • Hands on experience using Salesforce is required. Experience with other CRM platforms will be considered if the candidate can show strong CRM discipline. • Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, cold call, and build a sales pipeline from the ground up. • Willingness and ability to travel within the Northwest region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and parts of Northern California and Alaska) as needed to cover the territory. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience selling capital equipment or medical device solutions is preferred. A background in nuclear medicine, radiopharmacy, or medical imaging is a plus. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize independently while working from a home office within the territory. • Team oriented, with a positive attitude and a track record of working well with application specialists, service, and sales leadership.
