OpenAI is seeking a Latam Public Policy Associate to support its public policy work in Brazil and help coordinate regional initiatives across Latin America. This individual contributor role reports to Nicolas Andrade.
Monitor legislative, regulatory, and political developments relevant to OpenAI in Brazil, and prepare concise updates on their implications for the team.
Draft policy research, briefing notes, talking points, presentations, and correspondence for internal discussions and external engagements.
Support Brazil stakeholder engagement with government, regulators, civil society, academia, and industry, including meeting preparation, stakeholder mapping, and follow-up.
Coordinate selected public policy programs and initiatives across Latin America, maintaining workplans, owners, milestones, deadlines, and action items.
Provide research and general support on regional policy questions, consolidating country-team input and preparing comparative summaries and briefing materials.
