About the role

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month Remote Recruitment is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. Role overview You'll keep supplier payments accurate and on time for a UK finance team, processing invoices and reconciling accounts each week. Key responsibilities • Process supplier invoices accurately and on schedule • Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies • Reconcile supplier statements against the ledger • Prepare payment runs for approval • Respond to supplier queries about payment status What you'll need • Experience with Sage or Xero • Experience processing invoices in an accounts payable role • Strong attention to detail with numbers • Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work • Comfort reconciling accounts against supplier statements Nice to have • Experience with multi-currency invoicing • Familiarity with purchase order systems • Prior remote finance support experience What's on offer A permanent, fully remote role with a UK employer, working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST), with clear processes and a supportive finance team.
