What you'll do

  • Own annual business planning and monthly forecasting end-to-end
  • Conduct variance analysis and performance management
  • Translate financial and business data into forward-looking insights for executive team and Board
  • Lead investor relations program including strategy, financial materials, and messaging
  • Own Capital Markets and fundraising financial modeling and data preparation
  • Build and improve company-wide KPIs, reporting structures, and budgeting processes
  • Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Planning, Operations, and Accounting on profitability and P&L performance
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing FP&A team

Job Responsibilities At Trafilea , FP&A isn’t just about reporting what happened. It’s about influencing what happens next . We’re looking for an FP&A Director to own our global Financial Planning & Analysis function end-to-end and become a strategic partner to our executive team, Board, and investors. You’ll build the financial infrastructure behind better decisions—from planning and forecasting to performance management, investor relations, and capital markets—while developing a high-performing FP&A team. What You’ll Do • Own annual business planning, monthly forecasting, performance management, and variance analysis end-to-end. • Turn financial and business data into forward-looking insights and recommendations for the executive team and Board. • Lead our investor relations program, including strategy, cadence, financial materials, and messaging. • Own key Capital Markets and fundraising workstreams, from financial modeling and data preparation to investor Q&A. • Build and continuously improve company-wide KPIs, reporting structures, and budgeting processes. • Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Planning, Operations, and Accounting to improve profitability, P&L performance, and Cash Flow. • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing FP&A team with clear ownership and accountability. • Ensure leadership has accurate, timely, decision-ready financial information to allocate resources and prioritize investments. Requirements • 10+ years of progressive Finance/FP&A experience, including 3–5+ years at Director level or equivalent. • 6+ years of Retail experience , with e-commerce experience strongly preferred. • 3+ years of experience leading or directly contributing to Capital Markets and fundraising initiatives. • Proven experience managing and developing Finance teams, including Manager-level direct reports. • Strong command of financial planning, forecasting, financial modeling, performance management, and business analysis. • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial insights clearly to senior leaders, Boards, and investors. • Experience operating in fast-growing, high-change environments; start-up experience is highly valued. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics; MBA or Master’s in Finance strongly preferred.
