Role Title: Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Attorney (BigLaw Firms) Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Attorneys from top-tier US law firms to contribute expertise to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Provide expert analysis and annotation of complex M&A and corporate law scenarios for AI model training. • Conduct in-depth legal research on M&A, private equity transactions, and related litigation topics. • Review, comment on, and refine datasets to ensure legal accuracy and real-world relevancy. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contextualize materials and clarify legal nuances. • Offer written insights and feedback on legal reasoning, transaction structures, and deal documentation. • Engage in remote project discussions and contribute to iterative quality assurance processes. • Support the development of evaluation rubrics and best practices where requested by internal stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited US law school and active bar admission in the United States. • Experience practicing as an M&A attorney at an Am Law 100 or other leading US law firm. • Extensive track record in M&A transactions, private equity, and corporate advisory engagements. • Strong litigation exposure, particularly within corporate or transactional contexts. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate complex legal concepts clearly. • Background in legal research, drafting, and the review of transaction documents. • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and a commitment to delivering meticulous, high-quality work.
