What you'll do

  • The Psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, primarily in an inpatient setting with some outpatient responsibilities.
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed
  • The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.
  • Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc.
  • The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.
  • Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.

Telehealth Psychiatrist Schedule: F/T, dayshift Compensation: up to $195/hr Location: Telehealth (must have MO license) Responsibilities: • The Psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, primarily in an inpatient setting with some outpatient responsibilities. • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed • The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions. • Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc. • The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care. • Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed. • The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care. • Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management • Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract.
