This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform to support business needs. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Salesforce development and a deep understanding of the platform’s potential, along with recognized Salesforce certifications to demonstrate expertise. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications, objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards • Design and implement Salesforce integrations with third-party applications and APIs • Create and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other tools • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions, focused on performance and scalability • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide user support and training as needed • Stay current on new Salesforce features, best practices, and certification pathways Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with expertise in Salesforce development and customization • Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required) • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and data model • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL • Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integrating external systems • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD processes, and Agile methodologies • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products • Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, or Salesforce Certified Integration Architect are highly regarded • Knowledge of data migration techniques and tools, including Data Loader and ETL solutions • Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and front-end frameworks for customizing Lightning components • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading projects in a collaborative environment Originally posted on Himalayas
