Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform to support business needs. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Salesforce development and a deep understanding of the platform’s potential, along with recognized Salesforce certifications to demonstrate expertise. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications, objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards • Design and implement Salesforce integrations with third-party applications and APIs • Create and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other tools • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions, focused on performance and scalability • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide user support and training as needed • Stay current on new Salesforce features, best practices, and certification pathways Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with expertise in Salesforce development and customization • Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required) • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and data model • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL • Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integrating external systems • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD processes, and Agile methodologies • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products • Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, or Salesforce Certified Integration Architect are highly regarded • Knowledge of data migration techniques and tools, including Data Loader and ETL solutions • Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and front-end frameworks for customizing Lightning components • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading projects in a collaborative environment Originally posted on Himalayas
