About the role

Candidates with project samples are highly encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates will be scheduled for interviews and required to complete a short vetting task for the role. Curriculum Content Developer A Curriculum Content Developer provides vision and leadership in the design and development of highly effective education products to meet a client’s specific needs. This position works directly with the Director of Publishing Operations and Content Manager to weave research-based pedagogy and subject matter expertise into market-leading products that challenge and grow all students. A Curriculum Content Developer also acts as a project manager. • 3+ years of experience developing content for K-12 students for publication at the state or national level • 2+ years of teaching experience • Proven effectiveness at leading teams, working across teams, and/or participating in the design of a curriculum at the direction of an organization’s leadership • Proven effectiveness at reviewing content for standards alignment, clarity, and cohesion • Strong familiarity with both digital and print development projects • Strong understanding of grade-appropriate content, college- and career-ready standards, and pedagogy • Current on relevant research • Ability to adhere to client requirements and deadlines • Significant experience working in publishing tools (Content templates, InCopy, assessment platforms, etc.) • Belief that all students are capable of engaging in rigorous, meaningful work Hourly rate range: $45 - $60/Hour or flat per deliverable depending on the specifics of the contract Rate range is based on experience and project specifications.
