In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a robust background in document-based research and investigative or analytical beats, who excel at transforming complex source materials into compelling, verifiable narratives. Scope of Work • Analyze and synthesize information from public records, reports, and lengthy documents to distill key findings. • Conduct rigorous source verification and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy and credibility of all content produced. • Develop well-structured, non-opinion articles employing industry-standard narrative formats such as the lead and inverted pyramid. • Craft concise, clear, and context-rich summaries or full-length articles based on provided document sets. • Participate in iterative editorial reviews, incorporating feedback to enhance clarity, structure, and factual consistency. • Document research methods and citation trails for transparency and future reference within the project. • Communicate findings effectively in both written and verbal formats, collaborating with project stakeholders as needed. Preferred Qualifications • Minimum of 4 years reporting or correspondent experience at a recognized media outlet. • Proven expertise in document-heavy beats such as investigative journalism, business, or science reporting. • Demonstrated excellence in synthesizing large volumes of material into engaging, structured narratives. • Track record of rigorous source validation, fact-checking, and verifiable reporting (not opinion or commentary). • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly. • Familiarity with journalistic standards for transparency, citations, and use of public records. • Experience collaborating remotely with editorial or project teams is a plus.
