Preferred Qualifications • Significant experience as a fire dispatcher, emergency communications specialist, or equivalent. • Exceptional multitasking abilities, including managing simultaneous requests via radio, phone, and digital platforms. • Proficiency in applying, following, and interpreting standardized emergency protocols and checklists( APCO/NENA certification). • Demonstrated capacity for clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make rapid, accurate prioritization decisions. • Familiarity with the unique challenges and workflows of emergency dispatch environments. • Experience contributing to training, evaluation, or improvement of operational procedures is a plus.
