Requirements

  • 5+ years progressive accounting experienceMust
  • US GAAP accounting knowledge and complianceMust
  • ASC 606 revenue recognitionMust
  • ASC 842 lease accountingMust
  • Strong systems thinking and automation mindsetMust
  • AI and automation exploration for accounting workflowsMust
  • Operational ownership and autonomous problem-solvingMust
  • Adapt and learn quickly in fast-moving startup environmentMust
  • Big 4 audit experience
  • Startup accounting background
  • CPA or CMA certification
  • ERP system implementation or migration experience

What you'll do

  • General ledger close and GL management
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) management
  • Month-end close execution and optimization
  • Manage accounting staff and outsourced teams
  • Prepare for and support external audits
  • Variance and flux analysis
  • Evaluate and implement accounting systems and workflows
  • Automate accounting processes and reduce manual work
  • Cross-functional partnership with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Support
  • Technical accounting policy development and maintenance
