Deep Digital are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with a proven track record in successfully implementing, optimizing, and maintaining the data integration and historian systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of industrial processes, data historian best practices, and a strong ability to lead and mentor junior team members. This role involves advanced technical responsibilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of data integration and historian systems. Responsibilities • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data historian solutions. • Lead efforts to integrate historian systems with various control systems and third-party applications. • Conduct performance analysis and implement strategies for continuous improvement. • Design and configure complex data tags to meet specific project requirements • Develop custom interfaces and connectors to enhance data integration capabilities • Develop and implement advanced security measures to protect historical data. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, taking a lead role in audits and assessments • Investigate and resolve complex issues related to data collection, storage, and retrieval. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in the team • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures. • Comply with Deep Digitals Quality Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
