Role Title: Family Law Attorney Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Family Law Attorneys to contribute their subject-matter expertise to a customer's project focused on enhancing AI capabilities in the legal field. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Analyze and evaluate complex family law scenarios to generate realistic legal inputs and annotations for AI training modules. • Draft accurate and detailed summaries of case law, statutes, and legal procedures relevant to family law practice. • Review, critique, and refine prompts, responses, and legal documents produced by AI models for accuracy and clarity. • Identify common legal reasoning patterns and pitfalls in family law to inform model improvement. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams, providing written and verbal feedback on legal content and AI output quality. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes and trends in family law, integrating relevant insights into project deliverables. Preferred Qualifications • Active license to practice law and significant experience in family law, including matters such as custody, divorce, support, and adoption. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal principles clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze legal arguments, case documents, and procedural issues. • Experience drafting or reviewing legal memoranda, briefs, or client communications in a professional context. • Comfort with remote collaboration and digital project tools. • Interest in legal technology and its impact on modern legal practice (a plus, but not required). • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling nuanced legal information.
